We will miss you Pete. Your words of wisdom, your philosophical thoughts, your music and that smile that lit up a room. Your thoughts have always been of others, not of yourself, even during your unwell days, so unselfish. There will never be another you.
We send you Kate and Steph our sincerest thoughts and know that you will continue to make your dad prouder each day.
To The Corkery Clan, our hearts and thoughts are with you.

We spent a lot of time with the Corkerys , Dad , John Wilson and Aunty Betty , Petes mum were brother and sister and had a very close relationship. I have an older Brother Bern and Pete slotted right in there to make sure that wee Tim was looked after , so i always knew that when visiting Lourneville i was in good hands. The house was full of music and the instruments of creating music. Drum kits, several guitars saxaphones , you name it. The girls would be in the bedroom seeking inspiration from other recording artists( nicking their songs off records to add to the next set) and Pete would invariably be on the guitar, and as i recall it was a 12 string. When i got the rust 6 years ago Pete came around and told Sally my wife that if i got taken out he would be there for her and the Kids, he meant it . Pete was a great carer , in early times a protector and brother and in later years close mate and mentor. Now he is gone i reflect on my faith and the apostles creed which tells me that Pete is in Gods care, in heaven , i must believe this because it is the foundation of our faith. So God loves music eh , must do , he keeps taking the greats , Prince , Amy Winehouse, Jacko , David Bowie, can you see the conspiracy ? Pete would . JC is getting the band together. With Pete on bass Dave out front Elvis probably doing back ups i can only imagine what a great time and awesome sound they will be making . Pete we will miss you, but we have the amazing memory of you playing roving truebadore at Georges 21st burnt into our musical memories.Go well mate and God Bless.Tim Sally George and Harry Wilson
