Peter BOWDEN Obituary

Hi Sue,
Only just caught up with the sad news.He was a lovely man and I know you will miss him dearly.
As a colleague he was always straight,always thoughtful,always respected and always a pleasure to catch up and work with.First met him in 82 at the old Colonial offices in auckland.Even then it was clear Peter was the one who knew what was going on and kept things functioning.
Peter was a leading light of a great bunch of franchisees in the 90s and always someone we turned to in getting that working successfully for everyone.He was a great role model and always thought things through.And some fun times too- even if they did include the loss to the French in 99.
Only good memories of Peter.

I have read all the wonderful words written to the Bowden family, before I added mine. Sue every word written is from all our our hearts. I share your loss and promise to hold onto past memories of Peter and your family. Just as few lucky people in this world had the honour of meeting this great man. The world is poorer as we cannot keep loosing men such as Peter.

Today we say goodbye to a special friend, fond & loving memories forever

We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of Peter. Our deepest sympathy for you all. We are with you in our thoughts.
We will never forget the fun we had in a snow fight in front of our house in Germany many years ago. He enjoyed that so much!And so did we.

So sad to hear of the passing of a great friend from my youth. A truly nice guy and partner in much mischief and fun. The world is a poorer place without him. My condolences to Sue and all the family.
