ASHMORE, Peter Greenfield. On Wednesday 25th December 2013 (peacefully) at North Shore Hospice, aged 89 years. Late of Jutland Road Takapuna. A private family burial has taken place. Peter was a long standing member of the City of Sails Chorus. He was renowned for his never-ending supply of bric-a-brac which he would bring along to rehearsal to be raffled and raise funds for the chorus. After he left the chorus he was still a regular attendee of our shows. The guys will miss Pete dearly.

Brian & Gay Millen of Hamilton thank you Peter for all of the great memories over the years, dating back to my early childhood days when you would draw pictures of motor cars for me, your then 3 year old nephew at Ngaroma, through the years to more recent times when you often stayed with Gay & I & the fun times & laughter we shared on those occasions.
Peter you will be greatly missed, now rest in peace.
