Peter ASHBY Obituary

ASHBY, Peter. Peacefully passed away on 15th July 2022. Cherished husband of Kathleen. Loved father of Christine, Michael, Stuart, Gayle, Graeme, Grant, and Kathryn. Adored Poppa to 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friend to many. A funeral mass to celebrate his life will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Huapai at 2pm on the 23rd July.

Sincere condolences to all the family. We had many fun times as members of Calliope Harriers on local events and away trips. I remember that at one time he was growing strawberries, fishing for flounder and working at The NZ Sugar Co. I took over Pete's job when I joined NZ Sugar. May the memories of good times as family help comfort you all at this time. Farewell old friend and RIP.
