Peggy WILLIAMSON Obituary

WILLIAMSON, Peggy Maureen (nee O'Shea) On 29 January 2016 following a short illness bravely fought, and after a very full and happy life. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of Sid for 62 wonderful years. Dearly loved mother of Stephen and Malee (Bangkok), Simon and Judy, Mark, and Carole. Special grandmother to Nicole and Phillip, Bevan and Karen, Kyle, Anita and Note, and Alexander; and special nana to Zoe, Kiana, Blake, Kendall, Narwin and Tan Wa. Daughter of Leo and Olive O'Shea (deceased), and sister of Patrick (deceased) and Beverley. "A wonderful wife, mum, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rest In Peace." A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Wednesday 3 February at 3.30pm.

Although I joined Broadcasting in 1968 it wasn't until I joined the 15 club that I met Peggy. What an amazing lady she was. She had the most amazing eyes, full of happiness and mischievousness! They say behind every good man there is a good woman. Sid you must be a Very Good Man, because Peggy was Awesome! My Deepest Sympathy to all the family. Fond Memories always Peggy.

WILLIAMSON, Peggy Maureen. Much loved mum of Simon and Judy. Cherished nana of Nicole and Phillip, Bevan and Karen, and Kyle and great grandma to Zoe, Kiana, Blake, and Kendall. Thank you for the wonderful care at North Shore Hospital and Te Mana Rest home. A wonderful life fulfilled with warmth, love and family. RIP Peg.
