Peggy VAUSE Obituary

VAUSE, Peggy Nita Graham. Quietly slipped away, 16 April, 2023 at Papakura Oaks, aged 99 years. Beloved wife of Alan (deceased), sister of Gwyn Marshall of Grahams Beach, Mollie Bryan and Ailsa Driver (both deceased). Deeply loved aunt and godmother of Robyn Pearce and aunt of Graham Driver and Marion O'Neil. Great-aunt and great-great aunt of the Parsons, Driver and O'Neil families. Stepmother to Sue Jenness, grandmother of Tony and great-grandmother of Amelia. Special friend of Jim and the late Lynne Mays, Felicity and Don Jack, and Rose and Kevin Tiernam. A private 'Going Away' function will be held for Peggy at Resthaven Funerals, 88 Great South Road, Manurewa, Friday 28 April at 2pm. Her family and friends give special thanks to the staff at Papakura Oaks for their loving care. She lived life 'her way'.

Many happy memories of summer and August holidays spent with Aunty Peg, Uncle Alan and Cindy, the dog, up at Doves Bay. After dinner walks up to the pill box, fireside games of Monopoly, my Mum Val and Peggy - partners in crime tapping oysters off the rocks. You were a special lady and a special part of my childhood.
