Peggy DONALDSON Obituary

DONALDSON, Peggy Winifred. Born 6 October 1931. Died 4 October 2022. Peggy died peacefully at home (where Athol died) surrounded by three generations. Loving and adored wife of Athol (deceased). Unconditional mother of Grant and Bronwyn, Paulette, Julie and Bill, and Thomas and Sheryl. Devoted and loved Nana of Rebecca and Daniel, Jed and Nikki, Thomas and Catherine, Alex and Natalie, and William. Enchanting G.Nan of Chloe, George and Hugo. Our loved wife, mother, Nana and G.Nan supported us with her unconditional love our whole lives. She welcomed, in to her eclectic home, family, friends, and strangers who became friends. People from around NZ and the world have become part of Mum's family because of the love she gave and the genuine interest she showed. Peggy's death will leave a huge gap for us all but we rejoice a life fully lived and her reuniting with her beloved Athol. Celebration for Peggy is at 2.00pm on 6th October, on her top lawn at her home of 65 years, in Acacia Bay. Private cremation to follow.
