Dear Mrs M. I remember you as the charismatic Year 6 Teacher that I had in 2003 who was not afraid of sharing a plethora of personal life experiences and advice with us beyond what the prescribed educational curriculum.
I quite enjoyed the many stories that you would read to us especially after morning interval and lunch time. Seeya Simon by David Hill was probably the most memorable book that you read to us besides Chicken Soup for the Soul book series that I still remember after almost 20 years. By the way I met David Hill in 2004 a year after I graduated from St Michael's Catholic School and still have his autograph.
Even throughout my intermediate, high school and undergraduate university years I enjoyed seeing you active at Church as a Eucharistic Minister every Sunday morning at 10 AM until I left for Australia at the end of 2013.
Although, I leave this message 3 years after your passing I know that my mother who passed away suddenly from the complications of lymphangitis carcinomatosis arising from terminal metastatic colorectal cancer on Friday the 28th of October 2022 will have met you in heaven and said hi to both you and Jennifer Fox who also passed away recently on my mother's birthday 22nd of September 2022 this year, and was my Year 1 Teacher back in 1998. She also used to play the piano for the school and church quite regularly.
I am glad that all three of you can finally feast in the eternal banquet of the Lord our God, Mary the Queen of Heaven, Jesus Christ, the Angels, Disciples, Saints and all those who have departed before us.
May you rest in peace Mrs M. I will dearly miss you but please keep watch over us in heaven.

I remember lovely Paula from going to church at St Michael's. Always smiling and friendly to all. She will be missed for sure. May the angels in heaven land softly on her shoulders and keep her safe. With blessings to all the family, Pip Block (teacher and past congregation)

Dear Cat, Nicola and Sarah, I am gutted to hear of this (and belatedly of the passing of your dad as well). I'll always remember Paula as the gutsiest Velma Kelly in the Papakura Theatre Club production of 'Chicago'. She was always so encouraging of others in the performing arts too. Much love and many, many condolences to you all at this sad time xoxo

Catherine, Nicola and Sarah- my heart breaks for you. I'm so sorry for the tragic loss of your amazing Mum. She was a leading lady in every sense of the word, so vivacious and welcoming. Cat, I'll always remember how proud she was the day you got married. Her beautiful voice will be singing with a choir of angels, I have no doubt. Sending you love and light, keeping you in my prayers. All our love from Los Angeles- Kirsten and Barry xx
