WICHMAN, Paul Ropiha. 9 April 1941 to 5 July 2021 In the presence of his family, following a hard fought battle with illness, our dear Patriarch marched towards greener pastures where he will know peace for all eternity. Much loved husband of Pehirangi (Bess) Nofilia Wichman (nee Brown) Doted father of Nina, Barbara, Katherine, Rangi and Sarah Father-in law of Phil, Aaron, Heiko, Heath and Hone. Loving Grandfather of Sorel, River, Trani, Amber, Hagen, Paris, Ryder, Milan, Krystal, Karscha, Micah and Rosa Great Grandfather of Blessing, Bluebelle, Amia, Kingston, Valencia, Alaia and Kawariki. You were our loving protector, our biggest supporter and we will miss you every day. A soldier for 27 years (Kid Wichman), served in the NZ Army Infantry Regiment 3 Platoon A Company 1N.Z Gurr Battalion (The Originals) The family wish to extend their thanks to Dr Andrew Salmon, Babu and the rest of the Renal Medicine team who were with us every step of the way.
