SYKES, Paul Frederick (Joe). Passed away suddenly on Wednesday 21 September 2011. Aged 64 years. Much loved husband of Dot. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Tina and Steve Mapu, Donna and Brent Looney, Shelley and Luke, and Russell. Loved Pop of Anthony, Daniel, Ryan, Jack, Ben, Dilana, and Holly. Joe's Service will be held at the Whangaroa Golf Club 1745 State Highway 10 Whangaroa at 11.00a.m on Saturday 24 September 2011 to be followed by Private Cremation. Geards Funeral Home, 13 Pukepoto Road, ph 09-408-0970, Kaitaia.

Dear Doffy and family, so sorry to hear from Craig and Robert of Joe's sad and sudden passing, Ive always had nice memories of Joe which go way back to seconday school and of him being a really good rugby player and a nice guy, then his joy at being a Dad. I'm thinking of you all and send my love and deepest sympathy to you all. Love from Lyn.

SYKES, Paul Frederick (Joe). We wish to convey our deepest sympathy to Dot and family on the sad passing of Joe. Joe was a wonderful friend and neighbour, and always so helpful, kind and caring. It was a great privilege and pleasure for us to have known Joe, and greatly admired his generous and loving spirit. Remembered with great respect by Colin and Billie Dale, and family. May he rest in peace.
