Paul STEWART Obituary

STEWART, Paul Edward. After a short illness, Paul died at home on 29 October 2024, aged 72 years. Loved husband of Lu and father of Asha, and irascible father-in-law of Thomas. Thanks to the staff of Cranford Hospice and Access for their care and support. A private cremation has been held. Messages to The Stewart Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

I well remember Paul when he was Area Manager, Waikato with Mainzeal. He was a strong member of the national Mainzeal management team, dependable, experienced and got stuff done! On the personal side, he was fun, quirky, enjoyed a laugh (and a beer), loved a game of golf and as a friend he was reliable, consistent and just good company. Paul will be missed a lot by those close to him.

A golfing partner and friend for the past 8 years, Paul leaves our group of golfing buddies with many fond memories. In the 19th, no matter the topic; sport, real estate, politics, the economy, you name it, Paul could be relied on to provide robust and persuasive debate. Our Thursday and Saturday games are not the same without the presence of the big fella. Rest in Peace mate.
