I worked with Paul in Maori Affairs. He was a super star doing great work himself and recruiting many brilliant accountants into the Department. His passing is a great loss.

SMITHIES, Paul Anthony. Paul, Thanks for the 25 years of friendship, mentoring, help and advice that's been more appreciated than you could imagine. We had so many great times together and even though it wasn't always smooth sailing I don't remember a cross word being spoken between us. You are an irreplaceable guy - one of a kind - and we'll all miss you heaps. Fortunately nobody can take away all those good memories so you will always be in our thoughts and hearts. Thanks so much for everything. Grant Baker and Family
