Paul SCHIPHORST Obituary

Paul and I were babies together (in 1956) as our mums were friends.
Paul was also my childhood friend. I saw the small paint shop of his parents grow into multiple successful businesses over the years.
When I returned to NZ in 1979 Paul and his mum ("Tante Mia") were my greatest support. I will never forget their hospitality and kindness.
I sporadically visited Paul whenever I visited Auckland.
Just found out today of his passing. And about his loyal dog standing guard.

Just found out today about Paul's passing. What a kind and generous and caring person. Always took time out to have a chat with you. Friendly team mate from playing rugby Tepapapa Presidents Rugby Team back in the 90's. Rest in Paradise Paul.

Was a lovely guy. I'm the chemist accross the road from where he lived at the paint shop in akld. Always used to run into him once or twice a week. He was a caring guy, used to check on the chemist at night for me and offered a lending hand if ever needed anything. God bless him

Very sad to hear about Paul we had a lot of fun times holidaying in Whangamata over the years with him and his family.A very sad loss.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing - many fond memories of my time spent with Paul back in the 90's. Paul added a lot of colour to the paint market.
