You touched so many hearts... from your quick come-backs, rad one liners, love of sport and spending time with family and friends. You were a truly awesome friend who will be missed. Coming back to the homeland will not be the same. My loving thoughts are with Marnie and the Davidson family.

So many special memories of summers gone by in Whanagamata and that infamous driveway pitch. We would play for hours. Will miss the banter we shared on all things rugby, cricket and politics. RIP cuzzy. Johnny, Nat and Ryan

You were a great mate and will truly be missed. So many fun times and lion reds shared over the years. Our thoughts go out to Marnie and all the family at this time.

So many great times together growing up. Racing toy cars, rowing lilo's and drinking slushies! The list goes on. Will never forget you.

I'll never forget our sporting partnership in the Rotorua Boy's Weekend Comp all those years ago- you were awesome. You now have the best view in the house for all the Warriors games. Thinking of Marnie and your family at this sad time.

Mate England are 18/3, I hope you are watching. Warriors on Saturday night... We are heading to the Tav to watch it, so try and talk to the big guy and swing us a result.... On a serious side.... You are going to be missed a great deal mate.... Good luck and you don't have to worry about Milo, Mr Crackles and Marnie.... We will keep an eye on them for sure.

If it wasn't for Paul I would have never have been able to see Metallica, thanks again for offering me that ticket mate, I will never forget it! My thoughts are with Marnie and the whole family.

Well we have known each other for so long from the accident with the "bloody Asian cars" to the new years camping trips. The memories will forever make me smile. Thoughts and love to you Marnie and Davidson clan and all the friends you made with your humour and giving nature. Gone too soon brother but see you again.

Paul's constant homour even through the toughest of times will never be forgotten. A total legend which we were lucky to have known. Rest in peace bruv, no doubt with a Lion Red in hand, Warriors Shirt on and forever looking after Marnie and your family from the stars above.

All my love to my family at this heart breaking loss. But can you just imagine some of the conversations Paul will be having with the quick wits who have gone before him and perhaps seeking a bit of divine intervention for the Warriors and the Black Caps?

It is said about all those who pass on...but this guy really was, quite simply...a Good bloke. A truly decent, nice, good person. It's not fair. Be good mate.
