Paul DAVEY Obituary

DAVEY, Paul James. (Of Kaikohe.) Loved son of the late Audrey and Harry Davey, husband to Lynne and much loved father of Luke and Leah, loved granddad of Khloe, Tayla and Harper, passed away suddenly at his home and favourite spot, his garage, in Kaikohe 25th February 2022. The most hard working man we know and could fix anything. A man with a tough exterior but soft on the inside, a man of few words who loved being with his friends and fishing, or at least as we joke, being on the water and trying to catch fish. A very simple and informal farewell will be held at the chapel of Squire Funeral Services, 15 Wihongi Street, Kaikohe on Tuesday 1st of March from 11am - 1pm. After which a private burial will be held with family. There is no formal programme for the service, please feel free to come and go as you wish over that time period to say farewell and to see family and enjoy some stories and some laughs together. Given the uncertain Covid times, numbers inside the funeral home will be limited to 50 at any one time but given people will be coming and going, we look forward to seeing you and please wear a mask on arrival.
