Paul CARMONT Obituary

CARMONT, Paul Douglas. 1 November 1953 - 14 August 2025 Son of the late Douglas and Lois Carmont. Passed away peacefully at home. Dearly loved husband of Sarah. Treasured Dad to Brian, Michelle, Stuart, George and their partners, cherished Gramps and Great Grandpa. His warmth, kindness and unwavering love touched every generation of our family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his gentle spirit, unique laugh, and the way he made each of us feel uniquely special. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 19 August - 9.30am, at the Otahuhu Rugby League Club, 645 Mt Wellington Highway, followed by his burial at Mangere Lawn Cemetery at 1pm. Visitation will be from 12pm-8pm 16 and 17 August and 12pm-5pm on 18 August at 132 Wyllie Road, Papatoetoe. All inquiries to be directed to Brian Carmont 0292014695 or George Carmont 0210434088.

My sincerest condolences. I worked with Paul in his last and final years as a carpet layer. Out of all the people over 40 years he would be at the top of the list as someone to work with. Such a genuine nice guy. I will miss him.

CARMONT, Paul Douglas. Much loved son of Douglas and Lois Carmont passed away on 14 August 2025 after a long illness. Beloved and cherished brother and brother-in-law of Lorraine and Barry, Julie and Chris, Yvonne and Steve, Bryan and Vicki and Gary. He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, uncle, and loyal friend to many. His passion for rugby league, horses, music, westerns and overwhelmingly his love for his family will always be remembered. We will love and miss you forever Paul. RIP
