Paul ASHBY Obituary

ASHBY, Paul Julian. Passed away peacefully on August 22nd at Totara Hospice after a battle with cancer which he bravely bore at aged 67. Loved younger brother of Jim and the Late June, Helen and Jim. Loved uncle of Angela, Greg, Tracy, Chris, Kory and Nancy, their partners and families. A dear friend of Debbie. Despite Paul's disabilities he lived his best life with trips to Australia, lifting weights and surfing the net. Long chats were popular, U.S politics a favourite topic. Paul had a great sense of humour, loving a joke with everyone. His aim to live independently in his flat was fulfilled, with Debbie for company. A big thank you to all of Paul's carers for helping Paul accomplish this. A gentle and sensitive soul now at rest. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Totata Hospice in Paul's memory. A private cremation has been held.
