Patrick WENZEL Obituary

WENZEL, Patrick Sean. Passed away peacefully on 11 October 2016, aged 46. Much loved partner of Meg. Step- dad of Lucy and Doug (Tyre). Son of Jillian and the late Ron. Brother of Sarah and Bryan (Brisbane) and uncle of Josh and Jared. Loved son-in-law and brother-in-law of Sonia, Craig and Lisa, Scott and Jenny, and Steve and their families (Wall). Your battle was bravely fought. Gone far too soon but always remembered and loved by so many. As requested by Patrick he will have a private cremation with a celebration of his life to be held at the Cornwall Park Cricket Club, Greenlane Road, Greenlane on Monday 17 October 12-3pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mercy Hospice, PO Box 47693, Ponsonby. Go the Mighty Centurions!

Please accept our sympathy and condolences for your loss. Pat was instrumental in getting our club off the ground and was a major influence in our achievements both on and off the court for the time he was involved with us. I played and socialised alongside for a number of years and have many fond memories from that association.
