Dear Pat While it was a shock when Helen rang to tell me of your passing I know it was a blessing also as you are now with the Lord. I really missed taking you to weekday Mass's and our talks afterwards even if we never always agreed. You showed us time and time again what faith can achieve but this time while your mind was willing your body wasn't. I think the Lord needed some one to make sure they had the right readings for the day so called for you. Sleep in peace

Sincere Condolences to the family on the loss of your precious Pat. I recall the profound impact he had on the lives of my children as a teacher at St Patricks School Invercargill many years ago. They still speak fondly of him as one of the best teachers they ever had. May you draw comfort from the many happy memories of his remarkable life.
