MOORE, Sir Patrick William Eisdell (Pat) 2NZEF, Reg No 420402, 28th Maori Battalion, Capt. Died peacefully at Eastcliffe on Orakei on Thursday, 18 June 2015; aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Beth. Loved father and father-in-law of Anthony and Pauline, Tim and Ann, Simon and Jane, Chris and Heather. Much loved grandfather of Hamish, Michael, Nick, William, Richard, Alastair, Henry, Edward, Matty, Sarah, Tom, George and eight great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Dorjean Massey and the late Dick Moore. A service will be held at St Mary's-in-Holy Trinity, 446 Parnell Road, Parnell today, Wednesday, 24 June at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Deafness Research Foundation, PO Box 37729, Parnell or The Hearing House, PO Box 74-022, Greenlane would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff of Eastcliffe.

MOORE, Sir Patrick (Dr Pat). Reg No 420402 - Doctor, 28 Maori Battalion, Capt. Patron of the 28 Maori Battalion - Auckland Association. Cherished friend of many Veterans and Widows and descendants of the Battalion. You are leaving a big hole in many lives because you did so much with yours - Ka maumahara tonu tatou ki a koe.
