Patrick was an empathy blanket for so many people, he will never judgment anyone by their past, or looks, all he cared was their hearts , he was all about giving and loving unconditionally, nothing will make him happier than to give people in need anything , emotional support, money , whatever he had .., his empathy didn´t have limits , he was at heart a peaceful kid who wanted to heal the world with kindness , I m glad I had the blessing to have meet him and learn so much from him, he made me a better man. A better Friend. , his humbleness was an Example to follow , he was so instrumental in my life and many others .., the best way to honor his memory is with empathy , every time you see a homeless person on the street , just give something and say that´s from Patrick . Patrick my bro wherever you are I love you , bros forever ! Pump up the jam in heaven !

Patrick came to our house often to see Bekah. He always gave us big hugs. He would stoke up the fire and it would go all night and well into the morning. At some point he would make something to eat for them both and they would watch some funny comedy on TV. He managed to tame one of our most timid cats which was no small feat. A beautiful, gentle soul. Our thoughts are with you at this time. With much love, Maree, Anna and Bekah.

One of the most valuable things Patty taught me was to be adaptable and go with the flow. Life on the streets is tough, and getting stuck in your ways to survive is easy. But Patty showed me the beauty of being flexible, the freedom of letting go, and the joy of embracing the unexpected. He encouraged me to live in the moment.

Patty´s deep and limitless passion for music always inspired me. He often walked around Auckland city with his guitar on his back, barefoot and singing his heart out. He was a true troubadour of life, bringing joy to those around him with his music. He was a fantastic cook, and his love for food shone through in every dish he made. Sharing a meal with him was always a memorable experience.

Patty, I want you to know how much I love you and how thankful I am for everything you did for me. You kept me safe when I needed it most, and because of you, I'm here today. As we set you free to fly among the stars, may your spirit soar as high as a bird, watching over us.

Rest in peace, Patty, and thank you for being my guiding light.

Rest In Peace brother....You were a guiding light in the dark, you helped every person you met, many in ways you didn't even get to see. I often think back to the talks we had and the philosophies of life and death that you shared, and those memories have helped carry me through many a hard time. I remember that night when my sister died and you found me trying to off myself in Albert Park, you stayed with me all night and talked me through it. I'll NEVER forget that Patrick, you saved SO many people my friend. The world truly was a better place because you came into it. I know you're in a better place now and I hope you're having the time of your life, because you of all people deserve it. You will forever live on in our hearts and memories. Love you till the end of time Patrick. Rest easy.

Patty was my street mum. He took me under his wing and kept me safe when no one else would. His voice reminded me of the singer from Cake, and he showed me the Life of Brian after cooking me dinner! I remember him with no shoes and a minion onesie, cutting holes in blankets and calling it a poncho; I remember his cackle and kind words. Patty was a musician who lived through his music and shared his knowledge with all his friends. He was kind, funny and a loyal friend. <3 Patty was family.

I miss you, Patty and I'm so sorry. <3
