Patrick FAIRWEATHER Obituary

FAIRWEATHER, Patrick James (Pat). Pat passed away peacefully on Wednesday 21 January 2026, aged 94. Dearly loved husband of the late Merle. A wonderful father and father-in-law to Susan, John and Robyn; Christine and Ken. Proud Grandad to Nathan, Conway and Eli; Michael and Aimee; Tom and Ben, and their partners, and cherished Great-Grandad to 12. Pat was a Foundation Member of the Te Atatū Rugby League Club and a Life Member of the Te Atatū Peninsula Bowling Club, where he was well known, highly respected, and valued for his commitment, friendship, and service over many years. As one of the early property owners in the Te Atatū Peninsula development, he took pride in helping shape and support the community he called home. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Sarah Selwyn, whose care of our Dad has been deeply appreciated. Dad was the heart of our family and will be greatly missed. To the world you were just someone, but to us you were the world. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pat's funeral, to be held at The Main Chapel, Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, on Wednesday 28th January at 3.00pm. Although Dad was not cared for through Hospice, donations to Mercy Hospice would be much appreciated.
