I'm going to miss our weekly conversations Pat. Last Tuesday you phoned me to say goodbye and then you were gone on Friday. I can't make it for your birthday as I will still be in hospital. Be at peace with all your furbabies Pat.

I was lucky enough to meet and become life long friends with Pat, he helped me in many ways and in fact sold me my first ever cellphone (Panasonic Transportable) with a GREAT DISCOUNT ! We had many "arm bending sessions" at the Birdcage Hotel in Ponsonby Auckland on Friday Nights, he was a true friend and a guy you knew would always be there to help in any way possible ! he was a true believer in "going the extra mile ! " Pat loved animals especially is treasured cat "Wal" who was always by his side for many years. R.I.P. Anthony Grant Auckland
