Patrick BYRNE Obituary

BYRNE, Patrick Desmond. Pat sadly passed away on the 25th July 2024 surrounded by his loving family after an unexpected accident aged 84 years. Best friend and dearly loved husband of Heather for 52 years. Wonderful loving father and father-in-law to Sean and Kasia, Jenny and Grant Goldsmith, Chris, and Rich. Very special and proud grandfather of Jack, Charlotte, Emilia, Natalie, Juliette, Finlay, Elena and Kasper. There will be such a big empty space in our lives and he will be forever loved and missed. A very special person; "I did it my way" As per Pat's wishes, there will be no funeral but a celebration of his life on the 9th of August at 4pm, All Saints Chapel, Purewa, Meadowbank, Auckland.

My heart goes out to Heather and Family. I have known Pat for 2 years through the Meadowbank Mall coffee group. He was a lovely sincere caring man, I have had many conversations with Pat, Larry, Bob, Lois, Marion and Heather. I will miss you Pat I feel blessed to have known you! RIP!
