Patricia MULLINS Obituary

MULLINS, Patricia Eileen (nee Downey). Died peacefully in her home (as stipulated) on 8th January 2024 aged 96 years. Loved wife of Bernard (deceased) and loved mother and friend of Mark, Clare (died in infancy), Dermot, Luke, and Bridget (Ehrhorn). Adored grandmother of seven and great grandmother of twelve. Loved and respected mother in law of Emma Mullins and Bob Ehrhorn. Beloved daughter of Albert and Eileen Downey and sister of Bette Broome (deceased), Barry Downey, Auckland, Michael Downey (deceased) and Angela Cameron (deceased). Beloved sister in law of Remai Hehir, Taikorea, and Michael Mullins (deceased). Requiem Mass for Pat will be celebrated at St Mary's Catholic church, Seddon St, Rotorua on Wednesday 10th January at 2pm. The Rosary for Pat will be recited at St Mary's at 6pm Tuesday 9th January. A beautiful woman inside and out. We have lost one of the truly good people in this world - thank you for all the years of lovely memories. Your sense of humour is one of the things that will stay with me - I remember that little hip flask of brandy that you carried in your purse for emergencies. I hope you are enjoying a G&T with Mum.
