Patricia LYTHE Obituary

LYTHE, Patricia Margaret (Pat). On 24th July 2024 after a short battle with cancer, aged 82. Dame of the Order of St Gregory. Loved wife of David and mother of Grant, Mark, Matthew, John and Raewyn. Nana/Oma of Samuel, Michael, Federico, Sofia, Ashton, Maddison, Isis and Indy. Pat made a huge contribution to her beloved Maria Assumpta parish of Beachhaven. She also worked tirelessly to support the strengthening of pastoral life throughout the Auckland diocese. Nationally, she was a Catholic leader in advancing the cause of ecumenism among all faiths. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Takapuna on Wednesday 31st July at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Catholic Caring Foundation would be appreciated either directly or leave in the box provided at the church. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at North Shore hospital and Te Mana private hospital. Viewing by appointment.
