Patricia FREDRICKSON Obituary

FREDRICKSON, Patricia Jean (Mina). Passed away peacefully on the 5th February 2024 surrounded by family, in her 67th year. Beloved Mum of Janelle and Chappy, Kristy and Paul and Sharni. Cherished Nana to Kruz, Emerson, Kayla, Scarlett and Keira. Loved daughter of Margaret and Lenny and Sister to Betty (deceased) and Richard, Karen and Nick, Kathy and Dom, Grant and Chrissy. Most loved Aunty to her nieces and nephews. Mum will be resting at home on Thursday. A service will be held at Southern Rugby Club on Friday 9th February at 1pm, followed by burial at Redhill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Dargaville Hospital and Hospice for their care and compassion towards mum throughout her journey. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Cancer Society of NZ.

R.I.P Mina. I was saddened to read of your passing. My condolence to the girls and the rest of your family. I remember my 1st job in the rag trade, on Friday you took the car (usual took the work bus) and I'd cross through the back of our section to yours in Te Kopuru to get a ride into work. Work finished early Friday and we'd go do what we needed to, then we'd all met at the Central for a good time. I have lots of great memories of our friendship. You will be missed.
