Patricia DOBBYN Obituary

DOBBYN, Patricia June (Trish) (nee Keogh). Passed away peacefully at North Shore Hospital on September 28, 2016, just short of her 91st year. Adored wife of the late James Patrick, (JPD) and treasured Mum and best mate of Michael. Sister of Beverley Deerness and the late Dawn Piper. A true and loyal friend of many. "Mum, thank you so much for your inspiration and unconditional love. You are now at peace tending the gardens of Paradise. Remember to tell JPD to only dig up the weeds and not the flowers! God bless, and love you forever, and forever in each others' hearts. Until we meet again, your ever loving son and best mate, Michael. X." Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Luke's Catholic Church, Bayswater Avenue, Bayswater, North Shore on Saturday October 1 at 11:00 am. Thanks to the staff of the Emergency Department and Wards 6 and 2, North Shore Hospital for their special care of Mum and also Dr Dick Rax for his wonderful care of Mum over 30 years. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Westpac Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, P O Box 2252, Shortland Street, Auckland 1140. Over the last nine years, as we got to know Pat and Michael it was always with pleasure we enjoyed our chats.

Pat was a lovely woman with a kind and generous heart. She will always be remembered.

Our deepest sympathy to Michael and extended family on the loss of such a treasure.
