Hi to Patty's Family. Very sorry to hear of your loss recently. By absolute chance I thought of making contact with Yvonne and Patty, as I had a dream that we recently met. Was looking up her name and found this recent Obituary . My parents and Patty's were close friends for many years . Both had connections in Indonesia prior to the Second World War. I have not seen the girls for approximately 60 years. I am very keen to meet up with your family if you feel comfortable with that !! I have been living in Hamilton since 1966. And lost contact . The kindest woman I have ever met with the biggest heart . My world and those who were close to her will never have another Patty she was someone who can only be found once in a lifetime , if you´re lucky . I feel so lucky to have had the honour of calling Patty a friend and sharing many laughs and life experiences with this beautiful soul

Dearest Patty, I am so sorry we never got to catch up after Christmas. I miss our chats we used to have at the bus stop. Patty lives on in the memories of the Kamphuis family. Our two families were old friends when the De Haan family lived on Edmonton Rd, and we lived on Lincoln Rd when orchards and vineyards were paramount. Els and I visited Patty when she lived in Grey Lynn many years ago. Our thoughts are with Patty´s family.
