Patricia CARTER Obituary

CARTER, Patricia Emily (née Hand). Passed away peacefully on 16 February 2026 at Selwyn Village, aged 86 years. Born in Wellington on 20 May 1939 to Douglas and Joyce Hand, Pat was a much-loved sister to Marg, Doug, Bev and Barb; a devoted wife and true partner in all things to Clive; a deeply loved mother to Catherine, Douglas, James, Thomas and Hamish; and a proud Nan to her grandchildren. Pat shared her love of cooking and sewing while teaching Home Economics at the Manual Training Centre in Newmarket. A private service will be held. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at Lady Bug and Selwyn Village for their thoughtful care.
