Taken well before your time Pat and come as a big shock to me as it would be to Jeanne and family. My deepest condolences to you all.
Great college and rugby memories Pat . The last we met was on the RWC France tour will never forget the magnificent Haka you did with Bryan Williams .

Only learning by fluke of the passing of my great friend Pat at the time his service was being held way across the other side of town held no pleasure.
Apologies, it has taken me until now to express my loss of a such a wonderful friend.
It will ever be my absolute pleasure to have known you Pat, and to have been regarded by you as your close friend will always be my privilege entirely.

RIP coach. I remember the good times at Teachers U21. You will be sadly missed. You never minced your words when you were coaching or when you were dishing out home truths or life lessons, and I have nothing but respect for you because of that. Very sorrow to know that Pat has passed away, he was a dear friend for over 30 years. I am going to miss his friendship, his quirky manner, his infectious laugh and professionalism. May the Lord take his hand and welcome him into Paradise, may he have eternal rest. RIP

My coach, mentor n friend in my rugby days for Auckland. He chose me to captain his team and in return, I never lost a game under his guidance.
Top man full respect, massive rugby player in his time.... Auckland and NZ Maori rep, club n team man... and amazing muso!!

My friend of 65 years – we were born 65 years ago, Kildare Ave, we communicated almost weekly for 65 years. I shall miss our 3am (for me here in Orlando) communications during rugby season. But, I have this mural to always remind me of you – a mural of you (my Maori warrior) and James and what makes New Zealand such a wonderful place. Rest in peace my friend.
