I speak for my late father (Jack) and my mother and brothers when I express sadness at Owen's passing.
My earliest memory was as a eight year old - Owen and Fred Gray came to Tiroa Block pig hunting. Both were fresh out of the army and had been in Malaya. They got pigs that day. I hope my memory serves me right about Malaya.
