Oh my goodness I have just found this terribly sad news. I was Orana´s friend at Massey Birdwood Primary school. We reconnected much later in life. What a great school friend she was. When her family left for Pokeno we wrote regularly. Saddened by this news. Love to Orana´s family .

I met Orana recently when we studied together (last year) but I really valued the friendship she extended to us all in the class, and her indomitable spirit. She was a joy to be around, and often spoke lovingly of her family. Nga mihi nui ki a koutou. Orana will be missed by everyone who knew her, and leaves a huge legacy.

Condolences to Orana´s whole family. I first met her at a Christian Youth Camp in Ngaruwahia. She lived in Pokeno, I lived in Mercer. When we went to school we caught the same bus and our friendship reconnected. I live in the USA but in 2019 I made a trip to visit with Orana and we had a great time reminiscing. A beautiful, open hearted woman who loved life and loved by many.Taken too early. Will be in my memory forever. Rest In Peace sweet friend.

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of dear Orana. Orana and I attended Pukekohe High School together and reconnected at the high school reunion many years ago. I live in Australia but we stayed in touch on Facebook. I loved Orana's warm personality and happy nature. She had a real joie de vivre. I am very sad that such a bright light has been extinguished way too soon. My thoughts are with Orana's family at this very sad time. With best regards, Lynda Tesvic (nee Devcich)

She was a friend of our whanau and also our marriage celebrant in 2015. I also worked with her at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. We loved her very much! My husband and I will be attending her tangi on Wednesday, she will be greatly missed by all

Orana a treasured golfing bud who always made us laugh with her antics and humor. I loved the way she would lift her back leg up in a ballet pose just when her putted ball was about to go in the hole (or not) as if she could will it in. I will miss you Orana. Much love. This pic of you on the 18th hole waiting for the group in front to finish just cracked me up.
