Ola ROBERTSON Obituary

ROBERTSON, Ola Jean. Passed away peacefully in Auckland, surrounded by loving family, on May 31st 2023. Aged 95, she lived a full and loving life shared with her friends, family and a devotion to God. Dearly loved wife of Tom (deceased) for 73 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law to Gary and Ai, Murray and Shirley, Kerrie, Susan and Ben, and Bruce and Gina. Cherished Nana to her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, who she was always sharing her rhymes and riddles with and making them smile. We will miss mum's kindness and thoughtfulness and her wonderful sense of humour which always had us laughing. Her husband, family and Christian faith were the most important things in her life. She was always caring and praying for others and was truly a moral compass for our family. A service will be held on Tuesday the 6th of June at 11:00am at All Souls Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St John's Road, Meadowbank, followed by a burial. In God's care. Love you always. Please accept our condolences on the passing of Aunty Ola. We appreciate that Aunty Ola, along with Uncle Tom, has left a wonderful legacy for the family and your memories will sustain you in the days to come. Although we did not have a lot of contact with Aunty Ola, we all remember her for her joyful nature and the big smiles. Kind regards to you all, from the Blenheim cousins.

Dear cousins, so sorry to hear of Aunty Ola's passing. What an amazing age to reach, I'm happy to know you had so much special time with her.
I have very fond memories of aunty Ola. Your mum always had big welcoming smiles & hugs for us on visits when we were young. Always so cheerful with such an awesome sense of humour.
Rest in eternal peace dear Aunty.
