DOUGLAS, Okeroa Waimiha Moana. Tragically taken on July 15 2011 aged 18 years. Loved mokopuna of Hinetaapora and the late Angus Douglas, Lyndsay and Jackie Katipa. Cherished daughter of Angus and Jo-Ann. Loved partner and soulmate of Dylan Irihei. Also loved by his parents Maria and Kopae. Dearly loved sister of Zanna Maraea and Pomane, Harata-June and Awatere. Special auntie of Waikimihia and Awatere. Loved niece, cousin, friend and student of Te Kura o Te Koutu. Okeroa is lying at Tamatekapua. Funeral Service to be held tomorrow Tuesday at 11.a.m. followed by burial at Kauae Cemetery, Ngongotaha. Tihaehae ana te ngakau e ngau kino nei. Hotuhotu ana te Manawa, maringi noa nga roimata. A beautiful girl with amazing talents, you were always the coolest girl I ever met. At times the funniest girl around, and then suddenly so serious and determined, you were the best of both worlds. And you still are. With Awatere back at school things are a little different, but it's great seeing the bro back.
We still love you Oke and we always will.
