I worked closely with Norm over many years,and was talking to him only a few days before his passing. He was a man who gained my respect. Always dedicated to Policing. His family should be proud of him. Tony Lee

We were very upset to hear about Norman's sudden passing and are sending this short message to let you know that we are thinking of you. Though this will be such an incredibly difficult time, you are fortunate to have both Susan and Michael close by to lend their support and bring you some comfort in the days ahead.

What a sad time. We were members of the Ponsonby-HerneBay community committee for years with Norman and Winifred . He even went on a picket line. What a damn shame as Norman was one of the good guys.
