Yesterday

I worked closely with Norm over many years, and was talking to him only a few days before his passing. He was a man who gained my respect. Always dedicated to Policing. His family should be proud of him. Tony Lee

What a sad time. We were members of the Ponsonby-HerneBay community committee for years with Norman and Winifred . He even went on a picket line. What a damn shame as Norman was one of the good guys.

My condolences to Norm's family.
At one stage, my boss; later I was a fellow commissioned officer.
That journey was turbulent at times.
Norm earned my respect - few did.
A man his family may be proud of.
