Norman DIXON Obituary

DIXON, Norman Albert (Tom). On 13 January 2014. Treasured husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Will be truly missed by all, husband to Maria (Mary) Leef (deceased). Husband to Imelda and father to Norma, Terry, Alicia, Liz, Pauline, Eileen, James, Samuel and stepson to Emmanuel, grandad to 13 and great-grandad to 25. Will be sadly missed by his only surviving brother Bayden and hie nieces and nephews of the Dixon, Hermansson, Leef and Gacutara families. "You are in God's hand, no pain, no sorrow, enjoying God's presence" Tom will be lying in state at his home, 12/72 Swanson Road, Henderson today Tuesday, January 14. His funeral service will be held tomorrow Wednesday 15 January at Waitakere City Bible Church, Westech Place, Kelston at 11am followed by private cremation.

My deepest sympathy to the Dixon family.
I am so sorry to have missed attending Tom's funeral. Tom and I were work mates for 36 years and retired on the same day. During those years Tom earned great respect from his staff. Tom was one of the hardest workers I have ever met, I am sure he will be sadly missed by the family and many of his associates.
