Norma McINTYRE Obituary

Mc INTYRE, Norma Margaret (previously Norma McArthur, nee Rogers). Passed away after a short illness at Wanganui Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday 26 October 2021, aged 87. Norma was a vibrant, interesting, resourceful and creative woman, with many great friends, as well as being The treasured wife of Clifford (deceased). the much loved and enjoyed mother of Michael, Megan and Nick, Bridget, David and Jenny, and Andrew ("Max," deceased). a fun boogie boarding Nana to Margaret, Joselyn, and Kathryn: and Hamish, Keiran, Matthew and Michelle. the loved older sister of Joan (Timaru) and Flynn (Paeroa), and a fondly remembered Aunty to her nieces and nephews. Norma will be sadly missed by her family and her many friends from Auckland, Athenree and Wanganui. A small private ceremony and cremation was held on Saturday 6 November 2021 in Wanganui. We intend to gather sometime at Athenree to share memories of Norma, Cliff and Max when we are all free to move around again. The family would like to thank the staff of Springvale Manor Rest Home in Whanganui for their loving care of Norma over the past few years, and to express their gratitude to the Staff of the AT and R Ward of Whanganui Hospital for their professional and compassionate care during her final illness.
