Norelle RAFTER Obituary

RAFTER, Norelle Betty (Norelle). It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norelle on Thursday 12 June 2025 in Patrick Ferry House, after a short yet painful 3 months diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer, aged 77. Much loved mother of Leona and Stephen (Deceased), adored grandmother of Jarrod, Alicia and Matthew, sister, aunt and friend to many. A service to celebrate Norelle's life will be held in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Monday 23 June at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fragile X NZ would be appreciated and can also be left at the service or https:/ /fragilex.org.nz This was a very important charity to mum as 2 of her 3 grand children have Fragile X Syndrome. We are all heartbroken but take comfort that she is no longer in pain.
