Nora O'Donoghue Obituary

O'DONOGHUE, Nora Mary. Peacefully on 14 September 2010, in her 91st year. Loved daughter of the late Mary Ellen and Francis John O'Donoghue. Much loved and loving sister of Steve and the late Michael, Pat, Jim and Joan (Boyle) and cherished sister-in-law and friend of Dawn and the late Patricia, Colleen and Ted (Boyle). Much loved aunt of Johnny, Mary and Rosalean Boyle, Paul, Kathryn, Helen, Peter, Frances, Mary, Patrick and the late Michael. Great- Aunt in every sense of the word to Daniel, Patience, Kurt, Caitlyn, Rory, Liam, Hannah, Rory, Conor, Harrison, Danielle, Liban, Callum, Shea, Hannah, Greta and the late Chelsea. A life of love and loyalty to her family, her friends and her Faith. Special thanks to the Parishioners of St Marks Parish Pakuranga and to all Nora's friends and neighbours whose loving support enabled her to retain her independence for so long. Grateful thanks also to all the staff at St Andrew's Hospital for their gentle care of Nora these past weeks. Requiem mass will be celebrated at St Mark's church, 334 Pakuranga Road, Pakuranga on Monday 20 September at 11.30am. Rosary in the above church, Sunday 7.30pm. In lieu of flowers, a donations to the Cancer Society of NZ Auckland Division, PO Box 1724, Auckland 1140, would be appreciated.
