To James, Maggie and Eugene,
It is with great sadness that I express my deepest sympathy to you and to all the Duff and Byrne families on the untimely passing of Nora. May Nora's kind soul Requiescat In Pace.
Nora was one of my earliest friends when I immigrated to Auckland, New Zealand in the late 1980's. Needless to add that all the fond memories of all the good times we had together are to numerous to include with this message. However it is only fitting to state that Nora was a very active member of the Irish Community in Auckland. Nora too was also a founding member of the Auckland Irish Drama Society and it was no secret that her acting capabilities with some of the Society's earlier productions were second to none.
Killanny and Auckland will miss her discerning wit as I will miss my dear friend. Hoping to join you all in the not too distant future for Nora's 'Kawe Mate' in Killanny.
