Noel WHITE Obituary

WHITE, Noel William. S/No 17211 Peacefully at home, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday 18, 2024. Dearly loved husband of the late Hilda, beloved dad of Glenn and Bec (Sydney) and Darrell and Em (Wellington). A service to celebrate Noel's life will be held in Affinity Funeral Home, 143A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, at 1 00pm on Friday January 26, 2024, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers NZ are welcome and may be left at the service. We would like to thank the Mitre 10 Team, Hospice, District Nurses, HealthCentral and all of Noel's friends for their incredible help, support and laughs. Livestreaming at affinityfunerals.nz. Noel, You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
We had a lot of time together in that small control room for 12 hours at a time on our 12 hour shifts running the plant. I remember listening to all of your Navy stories about your time undertaking you apprenticeship in Scotland and your adventures in Singapore. I remember laughing so hard about your trip to Europe and "acquiring" carrots because you were all hungry and run out of funds.
We suffered through watching every black and white Navy movie and tv series to stay awake but these are happy memories that I will always remember.

Condolences.
I was Navy with Noel including a couple of years in Scotland. A trip round Europe/Scandinavia together. Caught up in Alex 2019. This one hurts.

I will remember Noel and Hilda with love. The fun we had as young families at Whangaparoa will always be with me. Sorry for your loss.
