Noel CALDER Obituary

CALDER, Noel Davis (Capt.) Passed away on Tuesday 5th May 2015 at North Shore Hospital, aged 81 years. Beloved husband and friend of Sylvia for 56 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sarah, Amanda and Steve, Ginny, and Liz. Loved grandfather to Stefan, Nik, Scott, Alex, Greta, Rebecca, Bianca, Kane, and David. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Auckland, PO Box 5132 Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141 would be appreciated by the family. A farewell to Noel will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Friday 8th May at 3pm, followed by private cremation. "It has taken a long time to land, but it's been a beautiful flight".

Great memories learning to fly in Tiger Moths with Noel at Rukuhia while we both at school and then later at Taeri during CMT training as cadet pilots. Great guy who lived his life to the full
