Nigel POOLE Obituary

POOLE, Nigel Roger. 25/4/60 - 16/12/23 Died 16th December at home in Woollahra, Sydney. Precious husband of Pip Casey; loving father of Hamish and Henry. Son of Mary and Roger, and much loved and admired brother of Phillippa, Garth, Hilary and David. He was a loving, inspiring and interested brother-in-law and uncle and a cherished member of the Casey whanau. Nigel was an intellectual giant who thrived on rigorous debate and sporting challenges. He made an immense impact on so many people across his professional, sporting and personal lives. We will celebrate Nigel with two memorial services. The Sydney service will be held at the John Niland Scientia Building at UNSW on Friday January 19th 2024 at 3.30pm. The Auckland service will be held at the Akarana-Hyundai Marine Sports Centre on Thursday 25th January 2024 at 3.00pm. Nigel will be cremated privately. All communications to [email protected]
