Packwood, Nigel Keith. 5 October 1957 - 8 October 2025 Passed away on Wednesday 8 October 2025, at Thames Hospital, with family at his side. He fought an incredible battle against cancer over four years and was stoic and courageous throughout. Loved husband of Tina. Cherished father of Matthew and the late Natalie, adored brother and brother in law to Janet, Diane, Chris, Michael and Mark. Treasured father-in-law to Sara and grandfather to Payton and Flynn. Dearly loved son of the late Ian and Nancy Packwood and son-in-law of the late Don and June Crooke. Priceless fun uncle and role model to Luella, Douglas and Jess, Craig and Emma, Izaac and Brooke, Grace and Muni, Abby and Elijah, Toni-Marie, Jorja, Bella, Samuel, Sophie, Charlie and Archer. A memorial service to celebrate Nigel's life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa, 100/102 Saint Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland on Friday 17th October, at 12.00 midday. Tina, I am so sorry for your family´s loss. Nigel is one of the nicest blokes that I have ever met. He didn´t have a bad bone in his body. He was a great guy to play golf with. I am so sorry for you loss

Dear Tina. We were saddened to hear the news of Nigel. He fought with such strength and courage over the past four years, never giving up hope. It´s heartbreaking to say goodbye, but I hope you can find comfort in knowing his pain is over and his spirit is finally at peace.
