RIP Nick, among your many works you leave behind a great legacy of nature protection through your work with QEII. It was great knowing and working with you, thanks for all the advice and tips.

Sorry to see we lost a wonderful surfer a bit too soon.
So many good times with Nick we know he loved life to the fullest.
From the early days up north at shippies and Whangarei he showed how to surf with style and speed.
And driving that mini like a Ferrari.
One memorable after work trip to Waipu Cove Nicks fuel pump stopped so he had me holding a fuel bottle out the window with connection hose into the carb.
He both got to surf ok.
That’s commitment he always had.
All the best Johnny and your family.

So sad to see another of our old mates fall. Have known Nick and Jonny for over sixty years, since the St Joseph Convent School days. Such a long time. Rest easy my old friend. The next wave is yours...
