BANNAN, Nicholas James (Nick). passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday 15 of August 2016 after a long and courageous battle, aged 66. Loving husband and best friend to Jan, cherished father and father in-law of Russell and Tracey, Claire and Conal, Bruce and Candra. A very special Poppa to Tegan, Logan, Zoe and Nicolas. Much loved son of Bert (dec) and Alice (dec) Bannan. Brother and Brother in-law of Helen and David Booth, Paul (dec) and Nita, Marian (dec) and Cliff Stuart, Roger and Yvonne, Keith and Gay (dec), Carol and Rex Chubbin-Moore. Favourite brother in-law to Gael Hope, Carole Littlejohn, Lynette Powierza (dec) and Patricia Redmond (dec). Treasured Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held for Nick at the Whakatane Baptist Church, 67 Keepa Road, Whakatane on Thursday 18th of August at 2pm followed by a private cremation.
