Ngaire HENWOOD Obituary
HENWOOD, Ngaire Maureen. 7 August 1936 - 30 January 2024. Passed away peacefully after a long and wonderful life. Eldest daughter of Arthur (deceased) and Rennie (deceased) Henwood (Turua). Cherished sister, sister- in-law of Joyce (deceased) and Fred (deceased) Shaw, Betty (deceased) and Barry (deceased) Frew, Rae and Donald (deceased) Challis, Dawn and Robert Kidd, Brian and Roseanne , Leonard (deceased) and Toni, David and Carolyn. Adored Aunty to all of her nieces and nephews, Great and Great Great's. Loved niece to Aunty Agnes Dale (deceased). A journey well travelled in her green Morris Minor. Ngaire's farewell will be held Thursday 8th February 2024, 11am at Simply Funerals 390 Wairere Drive Hamilton. To Ngaire's family, We are so sorry to hear of Ngaire's passing. My sister Fiona and I visited Ngaire in Hamilton last November, and she was so full of life then. We took her on a tour of the gardens which she enjoyed. She was always full of family connections, and my Mum Gloria Rockel (nee Rea) had great discussions of who was who with Ngaire. Ngaire had a great sense of humour. She will be greatly missed. Liz and Stephen King
