Ngaire GEORGE Obituary

GEORGE, Ngaire Louise. Died peacefully in her 90th year on 6th June 2024. Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan. Loved mother of Alan, Melanie, Ross & Deb and Carolyn. Special Nanna of her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed. Thanks to Tauranga Hospital and Bob Owens staff for her recent care. In accordance with her wishes she has been privately cremated.

Very sad to read about Ngaire's passing. I have such abiding and fond memories of her kind, authentic, and welcoming persona. She was good to me in those teenage hour(s) of need, and I really looked forward to seeing her on the occasions I'd get to Apiti, Golden Bay and Foxton. Arohanui Ross, Melanie, Carolyn and the whole George Whanau. Vale Ngaire.
